I saw this post today. I won't mention who said it, since this is not about shaming anyone. But I do need to point out that it is ironic that a person advocating for better education is clearly uneducated about how government funding works.
In the Trump dictatorship public school teachers are paid USD 55,000 a year, while ICE agents are paid USD 100,000.
In Denmark, a public school teacher earns USD 90,000, while the police cadets stopping migrants at the border are paid 51,000.
Priorities ladies and gentlemen.
Teacher salaries are determined by your local school board and state, not by the federal government. Trump does not set teacher salaries.
If you want higher teach salaries, contact your local school board and state government representatives. Trump can't tell them what to do. They can increase your taxes to pay higher salaries with or without Trump's support.
